Very well-crafted pop songs wrapped in a great and humorous stage presence.  Robert Dunstan (B Side Magazine. AUS)

Beneath the relaxed  vibe, Adelaide Mid-Coast surfer-songwriter, Nick West, exudes a street-wise savvy and wisdom beyond his 21 years.

Played on Triple J, featured in the Pt Noarlunga Blues Festival, working with Melbourne’s folk favourite – Khristian Mizzi, the 2019 Umbrella Festival  and recent winner in South Australia’s premier song contest (‘SCALA Festival Of Original Music’) have just been  added to Nick’s surf kit.

His recent signing to indie label, Arty Records Germany, Ireland, Australia, sees his debut EP “Pieces Of One”  released with debut single/video, “European City” and the follow-up, “What Humans Do” out now here,  Bandcamp and all online platforms.

Light-hearted digs at the world and himself underpin Nick’s highly melodic pop songs yet it is in the addressing of social issues and his strong support of mens’ mental health that he has found traction especially from his fellow youth. Between-song monologues exude confidence, authenticity and cheeky humour: an overall package that is seeing him in demand and morphing from one of Adelaide’s newest emerging artists into a long-term contender.
